Rev Phillip Jones

Workplace Chaplaincy Co-ordinator

Rev. Phillip Jones has been the Team Rector (staff team leader) of the Church of England churches around Hanley since April 2017.  Before that he was, from 2001, team leader of Faith at Work in Worcestershire, the work place chaplaincy team for the County.

He has been a work place chaplain for over 20 years beginning by visiting a department store and the shopping centre management as well as an out of town supermarket.  Most recently, he co-ordinated and supported the team of volunteer chaplains visiting a wide variety of shops in Worcester city centre.  In the past he has been chaplain to a large mail order warehouse, a factory making nails and wall plugs, police stations as well as local councils, including being the Chairman’s (Mayor’s) chaplain on several occasions.

He is enjoying getting to know his way around Stoke-on-Trent, especially walking its canals.
